Sister Vicki Jean Chambers was featured in the Summer 2006 newsletter, Messmer Today in the article "The Call to Serve Heard in Messmer's Halls." She is a 1975 graduate of Messmer High School.

It was because of the examples of Messmer teachers: Sister Alanna Cooney, SSND, Sister Veronica Jean Lipke, SSND, Sister Cecil Richert, SSND and Sister Joan Angela Edwards, SSM that Sister Vicki became interested in entering religious life. In addition, Sister Harriet Marie Hildebrand, SSND influenced Sister Vicki's study and work in library science.

Sister Vicki expressed her gratitude for her high school experience, saying: "Messmer prepared me in different ways including a love for education and a desire for service."
