SSND Sends Delegation to United Nations Commission on the Status of Women
A delegation from the School Sisters of Notre Dame, including students from SSND-sponsored College of Notre Dame of Maryland attended the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women as the CSW worked to make the equal sharing of responsibilities between women and men, including caregiving in the context of HIV/AIDS a priority worldwide. The annual meeting was held March 2-13, 2009 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. For meeting details, click – HERE.
