Mount Mary College Enrollment Highest in History
MILWAUKEE (October 16, 2009) – Total enrollment at Mount Mary College currently stands at 1,929 students, the highest in the College’s history, according to Amy Dobson, Dean of Enrollment. Of the 1,929 enrolled students, 1,434 are undergraduates and 486 are graduate students. Dobson added that in addition to overall record enrollment, the College’s graduate program enrollment is the largest since Mount Mary opened its doors in 1913.
“We’re very pleased that despite tough economic times, students are continuing to invest in their education and are choosing Mount Mary,” Dobson stated. ‘Our generous financial aid programs and personal commitment to meet students’ needs consistently make a difference,” she added.
Recently inaugurated President Eileen Schwalbach attributes the ongoing growth to the College’s ability to carry out its day-to-day mission of educating individuals to transform the world. “Mount Mary’s breadth of programs, combined with excellent faculty-to-student ratios and passionate teachers are reasons that students continue to be attracted to Mount Mary,” Schwalbach stated.
Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in education, Mount Mary College is a Catholic college sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
