Sister Claire Marie Quichocho celebrates 50 years as a School Sister of Notre Dame. She has ministered as teacher, school administrator and coordinator / director.
A meaningful time in my ministry…
Everyday is meaningful time for me especially when I am aware that I am sharing in the ministry of mission of Jesus with other SSNDs in the different parts of the world.
What drew you to the SSND Community?
I was drawn by their life of prayer, their kindness, love and compassion.
What would you like people today to know about the School Sisters of Notre Dame?
The School Sisters of Notre Dame are still working in the mission of Jesus to empower others through the ministry they do.
What is your current ministry?
My current ministry is teaching first grade at St. Francis Catholic Elementary School in Yona, Guam. I live with three other Sisters in Mother Caroline Community, Ipan Talofofo, Guam where we share prayer, ministry and, fun.
