The School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) is an international community of women who have positively influenced the lives of millions since our 1833 founding by Mother Theresa of Jesus Gerhardinger in Bavaria, Germany. ADDED TO HISTORICAL REGISTERS
After its addition to the Wisconsin Historical Register on February 18, 2011, Notre Dame of Elm Grove, referred to on the preservation application and listing as "Visitation Convent Complex, WI" was officilally listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 25, 2011. MORE>
